Amy Fleishman is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian
Nutritionist and has been in private practice since 2001. She
shares with each client her passion for nutrition as well as her
extensive experience in the field. Amy provides comprehensive
medical nutrition therapy and personalized nutrition plans. She
also presents nutrition lectures and leads corporate wellness

She was recently the Nutrition Coordinator of the Program for
Surgical Weight Loss at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She
provided nutritional counseling to patients before and after weight
loss surgery, and ran the Mount Sinai Weight Loss Surgery
Support Group. Prior to joining the Mount Sinai Program for
Surgical Weight Loss, she worked as a clinical dietitian at the
Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine of the New York
University Medical Center.
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Cornell
University, Amy began her dietetic training at Albert Einstein
Medical Center. She subsequently obtained her Masters Degree
in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, where she
additionally served as a teaching fellow.
Amy is an active member of the American Dietetic Association, the
New Jersey Dietetic Association, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. She
is an associate member of the American Society for Bariatric
Surgery.
Amy resides in New Jersey with her husband, David and her boys,
Jordan and Matthew.
